History
The existence of Nesto College, Oyo is beyond human understanding. It is an act of God Almighty requiring steps of faith, made perfect by His precious and Amazing Grace. Nesto College is an off-shoot of Araromi Nursery/Primary Institute, Oyo which started on September 1, 1981. Request from the products and parents of the institute led to the establishment of the college. The school derived its name from the acronym of the proprietors Nathaniel Esther Oshin; “N EST O”
Nesto College is a co-education institution. It has both day and boarding facilities. We emphasize academic excellence with character building, by trying to enrich the spiritual lives of students who will become law-abiding citizens.
Nesto College was established on 25th October 1993 at Araromi Nursery / Primary site. The school moved to its permanent site on Wednesday, January 20 1999. The official opening of the school was held on Tuesday 20th July 1999. In attendance at that occasion were dignitaries from all walks of life including the Royal Father Kabiyesi, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi the lll. the Alaafin of Oyo, the then Honourable Commissioner for Education Dr. A.A. Adelakun, other Ministry officials, Parents, staff, and the students of the school.
